What does the “Pending” status mean for PayPal payments

If you have a PayPal payment system connected and you see the status “Pending” in the applications, most likely the payment in PayPal has the status of unclaimed (unclaimed). Successful payment status can’t be sent to YAPA.page until you correct it with PayPal. We want to make sure you receive payment before we complete the Order.

To resolve this issue, you will need to go to your PayPal control panel and manually accept the payment in order to receive the funds.

You will also receive an email from PayPal informing you of any unclaimed payments with further instructions on how to receive your payment.

Here are a few reasons why a payment might not be claimed by PayPal:

  • The currency of your PayPal account is different from the currency in which your customers make purchases
  • You haven’t verified your PayPal account yet
  • You’ve made changes to your PayPal account email address

Payments that have not been received after 30 days may be returned to the sender. It is recommended that you take steps to resolve any unclaimed payment through PayPal as soon as possible.
