How to use your own domain
What do you need?
You may need a website with your own domain to run advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok Google, Yandex and others. Or you just want to register your own pretty link.

Plans
Usage of your domain is available in the plan “Maximum (MAX)”
Step 1. Buy domain
If you already have a domain, then you can skip this step.
You can buy a domain, for example, from the GoDaddy registrar.
Step 2. Specify domain in YAPA.page
In your personal account, open the “Project Settings” -> “General” page. Click the “Edit” button.
In the “Edit information” window that opens, in the “Project address” field, select “Custom domain” (1) and specify the domain name (2). Don’t forget to save your changes.
Step 3. Specify records for the domain on the registrar’s website
To do this, you need to add an A record in the DNS management zone and set the IP address 52.59.177.215 for it.
How to specify A-records on the registrar’s website
You need to add an A record for the main domain. You can do this in the domain control panel (usually called “DNS Zone Management”)
For main domain
For example: mysite.com
- Go to your domain control panel
- In the domain settings, find a section like “Adding an entry in DNS”
- Add an A record with the IP address 52.59.177.215
If you have other type A records for the main domain, remove them. There can be only one A record for a domain, otherwise the domain will not work.
For subdomain
For example: sub.mysite.com or www.mysite.com
In the domain settings, specify the A record with the value 52.59.177.215 You do not need to change the name servers (NS records) for your domain.
If your registrar does not provide default DNS servers, order this service separately.
All changes can take from 3 to 24 hours.
How to verify a domain for facebook and other platforms?
Domain verification is often required to run ads. Select the verification method via the meta tag. Fill in the fields “name” (3) and “content” (4), as indicated in the instructions for verifying the domain in a third-party system (for example, Facebook), and save the changes.
After saving the changes on your page, a meta tag will be added to the tag, and you can run a domain validation check in a third-party system.
